Surbiton Men are aiming to win the Jaffa Super Sixes Championships for the second time in three seasons on Sunday at the Copper Box Arena.

Surbiton won the title at Wembley in 2017 before losing at the semi-final stage last year at the Copper Box, on both occasions against East Grinstead.

Surbiton will play Sevenoaks in the second semi-final at 2.15 pm. Surbiton beat Sevenoaks 8-1 in the semi-final in 2017 before beating East Grinstead 12-5.

On form, Surbiton will be favourites to reach the final as they finished second in the final Premier Division table, however, Sevenoaks beat them 5-4 at Bromsgrove School in the Premier Division qualifiers in a game which saw Sevenoaks lead four times with Surbiton ahead 3-2 three minutes into the second half.

Hampstead & Westminster, promoted from Division One last season have had a sensational first season in the top flight, winning all eight games including an opening 6-2 win over Surbiton. Hampstead will play reigning champions East Grinstead in the first semi-final at 1 pm, having played them in the last match of the Premier Division competition when initially it was believed that the teams had drawn 7-7 before it was revealed that an East Grinstead goal had been disallowed, giving Hampstead a 7-6 win.

The women’s competition is also taking place with reigning champions Bowdon Hightown taking on Buckingham and East Grinstead facing Slough to start an exciting six game schedule.
