Surbiton Men aim to finish in the top four of the Jaffa Super Sixes Premier Division table at Bromsgrove School this weekend and qualify for the finals at the Copper Box Arena on 27 January.

At the halfway point after the first weekend of action in December, Surbiton are third, three points behind leaders Hampstead & Westminster and Sevenoaks, both teams having won all four games.

Surbiton’s only defeat came in the opening match against Hampstead and they will be aiming to end Sevenoaks’ one hundred per cent record in the first match at 10.30 am on Saturday.

Holcombe are Surbiton’s second opponents of the weekend at 3.30 pm on Saturday. Holcombe won two and lost two matches and go into the second weekend in fifth place.

On Sunday, Surbiton have an early start with a 9 am match against Canterbury, another team to win two and lose two games, ahead of Holcombe in fourth place.

Their final game sees Surbiton take on Team Bath Buccaneers at 3 pm. Team Bath struggled in December, losing all four games to leave them battling against relegation, a year after they came close to lifting the title, going down narrowly to East Grinstead 4-3 in the final at the Copper Box Arena. East Grinstead had ended Surbiton’s defence in the semi-finals, avenging their 2017 final defeat with a 3-1 win.
