Surbiton Ladies will take on Irish club UCD for fifth place at the European Club Champions Cup in Bilthoven on Monday morning (push back 11.15 local time) after beating Russian club CSP Izmailovo 3-2 on Sunday.
Hollie Webb converted a penalty corner in the third minute, only for Ksenia Shamina to level from open play five minutes later.

Rebecca Herbert restored Surbiton’s lead in the 23rd minute with a deflection at a penalty corner.
Surbiton led 2-1 at half time, however Izmailovo equalised for a second time in the 42nd minute, captain Galina Timshina converting the Russians’ first penalty corner of the match.
Herbert deflected Webb’s initial penalty corner shot past goalkeeper Oxano Boyko with fifteen minutes remaining to secure Surbiton’s first ever European victory.
Surbiton were unlucky not to score more goals with Sarah Page playing a 1-2 pass with Hannah Coulson before Sandra Frankland narrowly missed the target.
And with Page combining with Jo Hunter and Frankland to cause the Russian defence more problems, Surbiton played excellent attacking hockey.

UCD beat Canterbury 3-2 to earn their place in the fifth place playoff.
Canterbury will play Izmailovo at 9 am local time to avoid the wooden spoon.
