England Under-21 Men drew 2-2 with the Netherlands in their second Pool A game on Wednesday at the EuroHockey Junior Championships in Valencia, Spain.
The Netherlands took an eighth minute lead through Teun Beins, but England fought back to lead 2-1 through goals by former Surbiton player, Will Calnan and Duncan Scott.
England were pegged back at the end of the third quarter when Noud Schoenaker levelled to earn a point.
Surbiton’s Zach Wallace came on as a fourth minute substitute.
Spain beat Portugal 12-0 in the second Pool A game on Wednesday.
England face Spain in their final pool game on Thursday at 7 pm BST.

England Under-21 Women booked their place in the semi-finals of their EuroHockey Championships with a 1-0 win over Germany on Tuesday, Charlotte Daly scoring the only goal.
England play France at 8 am BST in their final pool game.
