Surbiton’s Emily Defroand, who was unlucky to miss out on a place in Danny Kerry’s 18 player England squad for the upcoming Vitality Hockey World Cup at Lee Valley, explains on the BBC website how important family support is.
In Emily’s case, it’s her mother, Gill who has inspired her daughter to success at both domestic and international levels in hockey circles.
