Hylke van Slooten

It is with great sadness that we must report the untimely passing of former member, Hylke van Slooten, aged just 30 years old. Hylke started off at Surbiton as a colt, playing in the Dragons (where I played with him) and then for the M2s for six years. He was selected for the England U16s and captained the U18 team that won silver in the European championships held in Poland. Returning to the Netherlands, Hylke played for HGC in the Hoofdklasse for 4 years, winning a runners-up medal in the 2005 league championships. He then spent three years at...
